My friend, Travis McMaster, the lead singer and guitarist for a heavy metal band called Dead Bird Pie produced a 2-song maxi single entitled “Afraid of the Hearse Racer” featuring “Hearse Racer” and “Afraid of the Dark.”
Travis hired me to create their album artwork. We brainstormed together about the theme of a deadly character rising from the grave to stake its revenge.
The cover features the character bursting through the cemetery gate, knife in hand, ready to take revenge while riding in a drop top hearse (pretty sweet if you ask me). The back included 2 busted up graves from where the entity trampled out of the grave.
