UGI Utilities, Inc. is a natural gas and electric utility company committed to delivering reliable, safe and affordable energy to their 700,000 customers in certificated portions of 46 counties in Pennsylvania and one county in Maryland.
Opening a new 93,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Denver, PA, UGI Utilities sought a company to help establish a new direction for its corporate office signage and environmental graphics.
Our goals were to celebrate the brand by remaining consistent with their brand standards and voice, embody the idea that UGI will be here for a while through timeless design, and don’t reinvent tradition through creating replicable design.

Based off a strong design that has withstood the test of time, we embraced the timeless nature by pulling elements into the design: strict mathematical grid, solid shapes, layered materials, strict typographic hierarchy, and smart use of color.
