Adidas Basketball was preparing to launch a retail campaign to celebrate Josh Smith’s professional accomplishments as the youngest player with: 10 blocked shots in a game, to reach
500 blocked shots, to reach 1,000 blocked shots, and to record a perfect score in NBA Slam Dunk Contest (2005 - he won the contest).
We were provided photo selects from a summer photoshoot. I worked with a retoucher to apply the correct apparel including directing them on photographing the shoes. I conducted a light study to show them how the light should appear within the shoes.
Once we had finalized photos, I used adidas’ extensive brand standards to create campaign graphics for retail stores like  Dick’s Sporting Goods (DSG) and online.

To capture the lightweight feature of the shoe, we worked with a manufacturer in Portland, OR to create shoelace stands that were shipped to stores.
